...in a land far, far away (Kettering General Hospital) a boy named Richard Clarke was born (in 1979). Richard grew up to gain a university education (in 2000), qualify as a Chartered Accountant (in 2003) and obtained an ICAEW Practice Certificate and became self-employed (in 2009). In the spring of 2018, the company behind the trading name of Richard Clarke & Co was formed and, in the spring of 2020, the present day trading name came into existence, a name in respect of which it is our objective for it to become synonymous with the phrase 'trusted adviser'.
The friendly TEAM MEMBERS of Richard Clarke & Co work out of an office (a converted cobblers factory) in the Abington district of Northampton. The client base of the firm is predominantly based in Northamptonshire and its surrounding counties (all seven of them, the question is can you name them?), although the firm does travel further afield for a number of clients who (we believe) value the quality of service we aim to provide them with, particularly in relation to our specialism within the practice - that of acting for farmers, landowners and agricultural contractors.
As a firm our strategy to develop and grow our client base is centred around the power of 'word of mouth', such that on a day-to-day basis we principally focus on seeking to provide our clients with a level of service that meets or preferably exceeds their expectations, so that they in turn will hopefully recommend our services to others. In this vein, we are proud to have received a good number of TESTIMONIALS from our clients, which serve to motivate us even more to continue delivering a valued service to our clients.
